"From Songkhla communities to better health."
KOS is a health-focused brand
created by Pixie Platter .Co., Ltd. , a company that produces and distributes ready-to-drink beverages. It began with Thailand’s first Pluchea Indica Kombucha, made from Pluchea Indica leaves found around Songkhla Lake.
The project is a collaboration with two local communities:

Ecotourism Songkhla Thailand, which helped preserve and add value to traditional Pluchea Indica Roasted Tea methods using local herbs.

Uncle Jim’s Community Enterprise, which developed the fermented tea beverage.
We further enhanced the product by incorporating Songkhla’s signature fruits into a variety of flavors, promoting both the local economy and identity.

Pluchea Indica leaves are a native herb that has long been part of life in Songkhla. Thanks to the area’s unique geography. where fresh, salt, and brackish waters meet. Pluchea Indica plants grow abundantly. In the past, locals used the leaves to make herbal drinks for healing. However, as modern medicine became more widespread, Pluchea Indica was forgotten and seen as a worthless weed, consumed only by a small group of people in certain areas.
The idea for Pluchea Indica Kombucha began with a problem: "Pluchea Indica has value, but no market." Though full of medicinal benefits, Pluchea Indica leaves were overlooked by local communities. We researched further and discovered their wide range of health properties and potential as a tea. So, we transformed this undervalued herb into something more meaningful. turning Pluchea Indica tea into Kombucha, a health drink now recognized worldwide for its benefits.


What makes Pluchea Indica leaves special is their resilience to heat. nutrients remain even after brewing. They have a naturally pleasant aroma and a smooth, refreshing taste without bitterness. The health benefits and flavor have attracted attention from Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health at various wellness exhibitions.
